About Waisenpaten
The idea for the inspiring volunteer team emerged in 2026 from a group of young people who directly experienced the Syrian tragedy and felt its bitterness.
They wanted to be a source of hope to end this tragedy, having been its victims themselves.

Name: Dr. Ayman Zoua
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Orphan Sponsorship Association
Dr. Ayman Zoua is a gastroenterologist and emergency medicine physician, and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The Orphan Sponsorship Association was founded based on its humanitarian and social responsibility towards orphan children who lost their fathers, many of whom were martyrs who sacrificed their lives for freedom and dignity. Believing in our duty towards these children, the association was established to support them, providing care, sponsorship, as well as educational, health, and social support. This helps them build a dignified and safe future and enhances their integration into society.

Senior Managing Physician (Leitender Oberarzt) in the Nephrology Department – Klinikum Solingen, Germany.
Biography
He studied medicine at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU München) and completed his medical career in Germany. He currently works in nephrology and internal medicine, with experience in intensive care and diabetology. He participates in humanitarian and community work, believing in the importance of solidarity, serving the community, and supporting orphans and families in need.

Biography
From Daraa Governorate, he studied at the University of Homs and graduated in 2014. He holds a medical license (Approbation) and has been working in Germany for nearly five years.
Name: Dr. Hazem Al-Ahdab
Biography
Consultant Orthodontist since 2010. He holds a PhD from the University of Bonn in Germany and works in a polyclinic in the Bonn area.
